I've installed elxis on my webiste and I can't install components, modules or bots...
I tried to install the component "com_reservations_3.5_rev442.zip" and I get the next errors: "Upload component - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package" and "Upload component - Failed
 Installation file not found:
/var/www/vhosts/bookingeurope.eu/httpdocs/tmpr/install_4d5e71c0cd8fe/". I get the same errors when I'm trying to install modules or bots.
What am I doing wrong? Please help me!
 Thank you

Have you checked if there is any XML file inside of com_reservations_3.5_rev442.zip file ?
I think that you are trying to install the whole pack.
After that verify to us if folders like tmpr and cache has folder permissions equal to 777.
-
Yes, there is an .xml file inside com_reservations_3.5_rev442.zip (reservations.xml)
Yes, tmpr and cache folders have 777 permissions

Have you installed Reservation Component for first time, or you try to upgrade it ?
As i can see here (http://bookingeurope.eu/index.php?option=com_reservations) component returns MySQL's errors.

I tryed to install IOS reservation for the first time on my server, after that I just unziped the folder onto my server to see if that works, it didn't.
Those mysql erros are because I have't installed the program
-
Can you please explain us what you did exactly when telling us " I just unzipped the folder onto my server " ?
Installing a new component : [administrator area - Top menu] -> Components --> install/uninstall --> Upload Package File [click on Browse Button] -> [Select Zip File] that contains the component and click at Uplaod file and install button.

I first tryed your way: "[administrator area - Top menu] -> Components --> install/uninstall --> Upload Package File [click on Browse Button] -> [Select Zip File] that contains the component and click at Uplaod file and install button." and it didn't work....so I used the simple ftp method, I copied the folder com_reservations onto my server in the components area to see if I can do something with it, I didn't so I deleted the folder. You can see at your previous link to my page that there are no more mysql errors.
Private contact me so I can give you the administrator's login/pass to see if you can install the component
-
				Send me a private message.
I will need FTP , administrator access.
