As I asked in the heading... Wich is the lowest version of MYSQL to reqire from hosting provider?
-
Hi,
The minimum supported MySQL version is 4.1.x
-
Thanks for the swift reply. :D

Don't even mention it!

Is there anykind of work around for the Msql at all ? My host's current version is 4.0.25 and during the install process, I get the error on line 94 blah blah blah .

Elxis works fine also with postgres (although you may have problems with third party components, they must be ADODB compatible). We have tested is the past Elxis with MSQL it works (with some errors) but it needs more modification in the source code for fully compatibility with MSQL. We have left the database compatibility work aside as almost no-one uses other than the MySQL database.

The database is msql , however, it's version is what I 'am concerned about .

I saw "however", so I think he meant MYSQL ;)
btw, datahell, I'm currently posting a site using ELXIS, and I've lost topmenu somewhere, when I translated it's name... is there any help?
-
Of course, although this post is not related to your question.
You lost it? Where you don't see it? You don't see it in menu list in backend? You don't see it in frontend?
