Portuguese language is not available, but you can create it if you know the language and you know also English. This you have to do is to translate needed files from English to Portuguese.

If you look on an elxis installation into folder language, for each language there is a correspondent sub folder. Open folder english which is the default one, and you will see there the files english.php, english.gemini.php, english.pref.php, english.xml, english.gif

Create a copy of the english folder naming as portuguese and rename each files included as portuguese. The files which are important "doing all job" are english.php, english.gemini.php, english.pref.php

With an editor as Pspad open each one and translate all required fields saving them as UTF-8. Take in mind to replace also image (flag) with the correspondent one.

There is Brasilian language in Elxis starting with 2009.1 version, maybe earlier. You can use that. Portugese an Brasillian Portugese are like English and American English.
