Post by: seadhna on August 12, 2010, 17:10:42
Hi there,
is it possible to change the template used for search results? The results are appearing in the frontpage template but I don't wish this template to be used.

many thanks,

Yes, you can assign a template in any menu item. Go to templates, pick your desired emplate and assign it to the menu item that links to search.

From the administrator menu go:

Menu >> Site >> Templates Manager >> Site Templates

Select the template you wish to connect with the search module and then click "Assign" button form the toolbar. Then select the menu link to the search module and then click "Save" button form the toolbar.

That's it. Every time someone uses Elxis search engine, then the results will be displayed with the selected template.
