Title: How to display the component on the main page

Hello
I need a component to be displayed on the main page. That is on the http://mysite.com/index.php. How do I do this? Now on the home page displays news.

Disable the menu item "Home" in mainmenu (don't delete it)
Always in main menu create a new menu item called "Home" and apply it your component
