Title: Trying to change admin template

Hi all,
I am a newbie - but have tried to find the answer for this (and posts to come) in the forum with no luck
I am trying to change the admin template.
I did a download and install of bluestar and clicked it as default in the manager. It seems to stick as default so looks correct.
However the displayed template doesn't change and remains the magnet template even though the template manager is showing bluestar as default.
Is there somewhere else I need to change to tell admin to move to the new template for my admin user?

What is bluestar?  ??? I searched in EDC and didn't find such template for Elxis Admin panel.

First of all, you must use templates for Elxis CMS. Or create/modify any other to work for Elxis. Right now and by default, there are 3 templates available for the Administration area.

- Elxis Admin
- Elxis Admin Black
- Magnet

Another solution: Clone one of these, and modify them in the way you want.

Bluestar but on elxis 2009.1 doesn't work.

When i found time i will create one!!!

Hi,

ok - so that is why the template wouldn't come on :-)

Where can I find the Elxis Admin and  Elxis Admin Black admin templates - they aren't in my distribution and I can't find them in google ?

Reason for wanting to try others is that magnet is having lots of problems on my Mac Safari browser - seems mostly ok on Firefox but not Safari - so wanted to try an alternate to see if it is a general thing with SaFARI

Access Elxis CMS administration area, with Firefox. Basic rule!
