Hi renews and congratulations for your work!

Sorry for removing your attached file.

It contains some errors (as I wrote you in my reply to your e-mail) and must be fixed before publishing.
I will do the fixes and it will be published at elxis.org site in 1-2 days.

We try to keep high level standards regarding software for Elxis CMS.

Sorry again.

Brazilian language added for download at elxis.org

Thank you very much Rene (renews) for your translation.

You will find it here:
https://www.elxis.org/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=viewlink&link_id=66&Itemid=138

ATTENTION:
Standard Elxis name in all 2006.x versions for Brazilian language is "portuguese_brazil". In this package we used "brazilian" as the name for the Brazilian language. To have the proper locale support for Brazilian language with this language pack in a unix enviroment do the following:

Open includes/Core/locale.php with a text editor.

Go to line 23. Create a new line and add this:

'brazilian' => array('pt_BR.utf8@euro', 'pt_BR.utf8', 'pt_BR'),

this is an alias of the portuguese_brazil. Save the file.

If you don't do this you will see the brazilian translation but the locale will be set to english.

Elxis till now uses "portuguese_brazil" for brazilian.
We will change this in version 2007. So in future elxis will use just "brazilian" for the brazilian language. Why this? Two reasons:

1. It is smaller, and better understanding. Stands better inside the language form.

2. (most important) If in a site there are these two languages published: "portuguese" and "portuguese_brazil" then if the user has selected the portuguese language, Elxis will load for him both "portuguese" and "portuguese_brazil" items. It is not so serious problem but we better change it. To avoid ever happen this we must change "portuguese_brazil" to "brazilian". so use brazilian for the language files in administration (ie brazilian.com_access.php).

Note: For the same reason we will also change spanish_mexico to mexican.

Hi rene,
