blog with or without youtube embed code this error comes up,cant post blogs  where does intro text go i cant see it

Intro text, is the area inside the text editor.
The white area below the link, remove link, insert image, undo, redo & etc.

Did you type even 1 letter ?

Might be there is a javascript conflict that makes the editor not work properly.
There was also a bug in TinyMCE for Elxis 2009.0 or older (no need to apply this patch on 2009.1+)

i have the latest elxis and checked it is is as its supposed to be but still i have problem
can i uninstall reinstall?if so what and how(example module uninstall)?


i just tried with maxthon which has disadvantages but it worked,now firefox i use usually for editing my site only and few other situations, which is better but this problem comes up in firefox,i dont know why.any clues? i updated firefox java,but still the same.

now another problem adding google video to blog (video id)?are you meaning embed code?tried nothing shows up

Elxis does not have any problem with Firefox. Firefox is the recommended browser. There is something wrong you do but I can not know what. Maybe it is a template issue. Try this: change template back to the original one (okto). Login at your site front-end and try again the editor. Click control+F5 in order to refresh browser's cache.

We answered to your question giving you some ideas on how to fix this problem: This issue has nothing to do with Elxis as the editor works fine (it is not an editor bug). There is something wrong you do, might be the template that generates the problem, a module that conflicts with the editor, a server wrong environment (safe mode is on, sessions can not be saved, etc). We can not tell exactly what it is if we can not see the problem by ourselves. Send to Sirigos or to me login details to your site to login and see the problem if you can not find out the cause of the problem by yourself.

someone said it was template issue,they logged in changed template and voila.ok but i tried this and it is true but why do i get 2 videos when i embed youtube code now?instead of one

I tested the editor and the videos on your site and they work fine. I added a youtube video and elxis show ONE youtube video. So everything is ok. If you see 2 videos then this mean that you have entered two videos... It is that simple.
Case is closed.
