Title: Controlling Content Item display order.... not working [SOLVED]

Hi,
I have been trying to change the order of the content items under their categories with no luck.
In the Content Items Manager [ Section: All ], I change the order of the items, Save, but the order does not change on the page.
Frontpage item order can be changed, for other pages I cannot.

Any thoughts?

And also, is it possible to control how many items are displayed before the " More... " list appears?

at the menu link that you have create to drive the visitors, you have to set the content order as you wish.

If you wish by order (as YOU have order them in the content manager), you have to select by order.

You did not say what type of menu you are using for the the content items to be displayed.
e.g. table content category and table content section allow you to change the order by

it's Blog Content Category.
The latest uploaded content item is displayed first in Blogleading.
I would like to order them the way I want... just like we can do with frontpage items

first of all.. empty recycle bin

then adjust the link(must have) in your menu  to this blog-section as shown below:
Category Order:    order by primary order only
Primary Order:      ordering

then set the order of sections categories(in your category manager filter by section) and then set the order of items inside each category
