Title: index.html with "UnderConstruction" while working on Elxis Site ?
Post by: ROUBOS on January 10, 2010, 18:24:28
Hi,
I was wondering, instead of creating a sub-directory for the elxis site to work on, can I have a different index.html file showing only an under-construction image until the site is up and running? Just to save the trouble having to update the database after the site is completed and moved to the root directory.

Following the most servers configuration index.html is showing first. So you can use this file and work with index.php in order to prepare your site when you are online.
