Title: article is checked out

hello everybody,
I want to edit an article in the administration, but I cant, it shows the image "lock" and tells me, "checked off on wendsday ....."
I cant remember I did anything to lock this article.
How can I activate, revoke this ? I was looking in the Forum, but could not find any help.
Could you please help me ?

Simple correction, just click on System -> Global Checkin.

That happens when someone is opens a page and then clicks on the back button of their browser rather than clicking Save or Cancel.

hi, xmanhatten,
I still have the same problem. I clicked the global checkin, then I clicked on my article item to change the name of the article. After that I cant leave the article.
Nothing works, have to close the page by browser.
What ist wrong  with this ? It worked well the passed 2 or 3 days.
Can you please help me ?

Do not use the back button on the browser to leave the pages when you are in edit mode.

I really dont use this button.
At the moment it works. I guess I have an other problem. It takes a real long time to change from one item to another, to login the forum it took more than 1 minute. Sometimes I get the error: cant connect to the server. After I clicked the repeat button 3 times, it worked.
With this problem I will join the Mozilla Forum.

Sounds like your server is slow unless you are not using adsl.  The program responds right away.
