Post by: Coursar on December 01, 2009, 21:52:27
hi, to all. I have strange problem in RSS - see screenshot below (it's in all browsers). I created Autonomous Page first in TinyMCE, then corrected it without WYSIWYG, but no result...

1st
you have to check the encoding of the content ... did you copy-paste it? is this on specific site or in many sites have this problem?

try first to convert the text in a utf-8 editor and then to past it in tinymce or in the text area if no tinymce...
most probably the chars where stored in the db with that format  => .. which is this => --

look here at the smf at this post i put this here       i placed it wrong it show up wrong!
i think this is the problem .. many times when we past text we see it correct(in browsers) but are some cases that the encoding is not the proper, so during storing in the db the encoding is wrong!
i think you stored it as we see it
