Title: Language selection linked to the home page of the site...
Post by: ROUBOS on December 01, 2009, 21:30:44
Hi,
I notice that when hitting the language selection, it takes you to the home page for the selected language version of the site.
Is it possible to have it linked to the current page you're viewing?

I think not cause the page you might be viewing in Greek for example, might not exist in English. Right?

this is possible when seo-pro is enabled.. if lang-version of page is found(?) will switch to it...if not it will redirect to the home page...

you can check how will behave for e.g.  login.html

Exactly.
However, you can use smart language switch, so if user changes language on page which is published for multiple languages (search, contact, etc.) he will stay on the same page.
