Title: Passport.gov.gr - Elxis CMS 2009.1

Today i can announce the new launch of www.passport.gov.gr :) We upgraded the site for the Hellenic National Passport Center (GREEK Police), from Elxis 2006.4 to Elxis 2009.1.

Νew features:

- qPassport component (found on the site as Passport Query). This component will let you know -ONLINE- if the number you enter represents a Passport, sought as wanted. Something very useful for Public Services in Greece and worldwide but also for individuals (banks exc). Updated daily!

qPassport was created by Is Open Source exclusively for N.P.C.

- Appendix component Used on the site, to show the Passport Office's Hours of operation.
- IOS Downloads found on the site (down under) as Downloads. It helps the visitor's to find and download useful stuff regarding the site's subject.
- Sitemap component that we all know.

_{2 more options will be available (soon) but are not yet announceable.}

Comparatively to the old site (2006.4):

- SEO Pro enabled.
- The logo on the top, changes depending on the choice of language.
- Cloaked admin area.
- The template is based 90% on the Greek passport's colors.

Forgot something? Don't think so.... That's it !  ;)
