Title: Captcha audio not working

I am having Captcha audio not working. The text works. I gave write permission to the captcha folder and also tried giving write permissions to all the files within that directory, but still not working. Is it a known problem.

Environment:
Apache 2.x, PHP 5.3 or 5.2 MySql 5.1, OS: Mac OS X 10.6.1
Elxis: 2009.1

got any idea what's wrong on my captcha... it always display blank...
what should i do? ???
