Title: links problem or components problems ?
Post by: rabarison on August 27, 2009, 21:25:49
Hi everyone,

I am new Elxis  user and I have a problem .  Every time I go in the administrator area if I change a link of a menu that already exists, I can not longer open on the site. The link has changed or rather, the components are not taken into account
.
Ex: instead of "http://www.MyWebSitecom/index.php?option=com_newsfeeds&Itemid=28"
it displays:

  and an error message:
Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server.

Non Trouve
Le document demandé n'a pas été trouvée sur ce serveur.

No Encontrado
El documento solicitado no se encontró en este servidor.

Thanks,

Is a new installation ? Probably you have enable the seo pro !!

Is better for us to have a live link to see what happens to give you the solution you want  ;)

Hi everyone,

OK, I've changed the file htaccess.txt by .htaccess and enable SEO PRO and it works better but still have other problems.  For example,  when I click on "acuueil" and if i look in the web browser, I see :

and a message error

instead of "http://www.rasoa.com/component/option,com_bubbles/task,view/contact_id,1/Itemid,44"

which works!!

Help, :-(

Have you try to make the menu item again ?

http://www.rasoa.com/component/option,com_bubbles/task,view/contact_id,1/Itemid,44/
This tells me that the SEO PRO extension for bubbles does not exist in includes/seopro/ folder. Copy it from the administrator/components/com_bubbles/includes/ folder and rename it to com_bubbles.php.
