Title: Content Construction Kit - CCK-component

Hi,

I'm used to work with Joomla but is't lacking a kind of CCK (Content Contruction Kit)  - component with full translation capability. I mean where the field values can be translated too. I need this feature for my next project.
Is there an Elxis component that have these features?

Elxis supports extra fields for users profiles. It has an integrated system to create any field you like. As for the content Elxis uses bots. So if you wish to add a form or a video or anything else you should use bots.

OK that looks good,

But what about field value translation capability? For my project, the field values like dropdown lists should be translated.
For example: when a user searches in a directory for an "apple", he/she should also find records with "apfel", "pomme" etc

This is the easy part, Elxis is a multi-language CMS. Everything can be set to be displayed only for a specific language or for a group of languages. More over your bot can be multi-lingual by itself using language files. If you need something custom you have to create by yourself such a bot. If you have even low programming skills study how Elxis' content bots work and create your own.
