One more apology for something elementary but forgotten.

How do you make the output of a component appear on a page (ideally embedded in a page)?

I have looked on the wiki and the forum but have not been able to solve the mystery.

I am specifically interested in the IOSGallery, but there must be a universal way of doing this.

components always are embedded in pages ...

menu manager>>select a menu>> press new>>add a link to component>>select component>> save

That's more or less what I had tried but somehow missed the button called Component and tried the various "Link - Component Item" which only produced a partial link of components.
