Title: reorganizing columns
Post by: ifriki on June 19, 2009, 10:59:46
Hello,

Here you can see my temporary main page using CMS Elxis.
http://www.al-ifriki.com/elxis/ (http://www.al-ifriki.com/elxis/)

I need the following :
- move column Right to  column left
- move the Main Menu, Other Menu, User Login, etc. to column Right
- move actual column Right (Newsflash, Also read, etc.) to Middle of main page

- add a new menu in (Home, Links, Contact us) forum (it will point to another page)

regards,
Jouini

Welcome Jouini to Elxis Community.

All the things that you have asked based on css and php knowledge like moving the directions of columns.
There is a file named index.php on you template that you use ( for example Okto template) which you have to modify according to your needs. Also you must customize the css files on the corresponding CSS folder.

Moving modules Like Main menu , Other Menu etc you have to visit your administrator area on modules list --> Select ( Main menu ) module --> on General tab you will find module position choices
Adding menu items you have to visit [admin area] --> Menu --> ( Main Menu ) --> [top right button] Add.

Visiting our Elxis Wiki Area you will find any information you like! Just click on : http://wiki.elxis.org/wiki/Main_Page and search ;)
