Title: Is Elxis compatible with X-Cart right out of the box?
Post by: grant on January 22, 2009, 13:49:52
Got X-Cart and want to use a good CMS with it...I read that Elxis is compatible?
I have searched the forums but have only seen an old post about an X-Cart/Elxis bridge which was in development here.
If I install the latest version of Elxis, what do I have to do to get X-Cart to work inside it?

Thanks in advance.  :)

No, Elxis and x-cart are not compatible and can not be bridged. There was a bridge attempt some years ago but the whole bridging idea was abandoned as it is not a good solution.

Elxis has a brand new native shopping cart component named eshop. eshop is an elxis component so it does not require any bridges and hacks. It runs smoothly and fast inside Elxis CMS.

I have used quite a few eshop apps. This one is the best ever i have seen & with the power of Elxis CMS. ;) I have also an x-cart license 2 years now, but NOPE i will let it R.I.P.  ;D So go on.. try IOS eShop and you will not regret it.
