Hi again,
I've setup my website (still under development) in one of the machines in my school's lab and have been trying to access the page from other computers in the lab by typing the ip address of the host machine. Although the site looks perfect when accessed locally(http://localhost), when I access the site from other machines, the images and layout of the site are lost, it looks like a text-based site (only some images are shown). :(
Can anyone tell me why I cannot view the site properly from other machines except localhost ?
Thanks.

You should change the live site url option in Elxis global configuration not to localhost but to a public url or ip address. Localhost meens to the visitors blowsers that the images, css, javascript etc exist on their own computers which is wrong. You should set this to the ip address (or public host name) of the machine that hosts the site.
