For me this isn't a surprise because I have used the Elxis CMS since its first public release.
I have seen all the extra options compared with ALL the other CMS, Open Source & Commercial.
Elxis CMS never let me down, I have spent time & money on this CMS and I will do that for ever !
Elxis CMS is the best CMS and one of the most important capabilities is the S.E.O. engine, BUT this is not the only reason I have chosen Elxis, check out the Core Multy Lingua System, Soft Disk, Defender and so many others...
Elxis team YOU have done incredible work all these years !! Now don't give up... NOW is the most hard period when your work of so many years became popular.
One last thing, I am disappointed with the comment about our Community, and it is true ! We have to do something about this.
Datahell, could you arrange a virtual meeting between the Elxis Team & the Elxis Community via MSN / SKYPE ?

We had a small meeting last week and I told there that I develop Elxis just for fun and for you. I can live with and without Elxis, I can develop an new small CMS in a month or so, it is not a problem for me. I developed Triton CMS in a week. I have create many large-scale APIs in the past. You are the ones that you should care most about Elxis. You base your business on it and you should do something to support it. Elxis Team does already enough. I create continuously new extensions but for how long? If a get ill, or something happened to me what will Elxis become? Ivan also helps a lot. But I dont see other people to work for Elxis (except from the translators), you work only for your own business. Support Elxis if you want to be sure that this project will last for many years. And I am not talking about economical support, Elxis is economically independent, we don't need money and donations. Support it by building extensions and templates and by advertising it.

I started just for play choosing ELXIS from TONS of other CMS.
Now is 2 years that I'm using ELXIS !!
I'm a noob in this community but anyway I'm feeling myself a ELXIS Communty member because I'm a ELXIS SUPPORTER.
Why? ... here the reason.
Some time ago, in the topic about the need to have some extention like docman, facileform and akocomment I wrote that Suggesting and adversting ELXIS is SUPPORT.
Some communty members ROTFL about and don't agree ... support for them all is something else.
Now I'm really happy quoting datahell ... we don't need money and donations. Support it by building extensions and templates and by advertising it.
... and is time for me to ROTFL ;D
Then I was not wrong ... supporting is not only money ... Spreading ELXIS, advertsing ELXIS, writing to components developer asking for ELXIS support, suggesting ELXIS is SUPPORT, and is just what I've do, what I'm doing right now.
I've to admit that the most difficult part is suggesting ELXIS since the lack of some important components ... but this don't scare me anymore.
I'm pretty sure ELXIS will grow thanks to datahell (Mate, your book about SEO must be translated in English) and some components developer will suport it too !!
This is the reason why I'm an ELXIS SUPPORTER and this is the reason why I'm asking here the possibilities to partecipate at the next meeting of you Datahell and the other team members.
I don't have the community Avatar nor the supporter Avatar but I'm a SUPPORTER/COMMUNITY member !!

we know at the beginning that elxis one day will goes at first class, for me this year is dedicate to learn php it is important thing (and learn better english). datahell you are very health for the moment so dont tell us those bad things, but if at the future have some problem i have the best doctors in greece by my side (and site) you will be healty in a moment !!!!!!!!!! ;D

Everyone that visits this forum is considered as an Elxis community member for me and I am thankful to all of you. The titles are just for managing the project they are not important. What is important is what each of us gives back to the community. I don't want you to become developers, this can not be done, we must be realists. But any of you can write a post about elxis, can write a review on a site or forum, can talk about elxis to his friends, can propose elxis as a solution. Many of you can translate elxis in even more languages, write or translate existing documentation. All of you can provide ideas, find solutions, find people needed by the project. And as Elxis Team has already enough things to consider about you should start working on elxis without our guideline and send back to us ready to be published things (documentation for example). We spent a lot of time with Ivan on checking user submitted stuff.
Who wrote an article, for example, on how you install elxis on xampp and send it to elxis.org to publish it? No one. Who wrote an article regarding setting up Elxis under postgres database? No one. Who wrote a simple how-to on how you install a component or a module? No one. Write something elxis related that can be useful to other people and publish it in your sites or send it to us for re-publication. Put your links and your logos on it, elxis.org will advertise your business, we have no problem on this. There are almost unlimited things that each one of you can do even if he is not a developer.
The most important subject on open source projects is not the project it self, it is that we learn taking and giving back for free just to help people. I could work on other, not elxis related, projects that would bring me back thousands of Euro instead of developing components that I give for free or sell it in extremely low price. Why I do it? Am I stupid? Maybe for some of you. Try to see life differently, what are the things that does really matter and what are just for the living. If you are of those guys that care most about Dow Jones, you feel unsafe because we are full of terrorists, you worry about the price of the oil barrel, you think Russia is the devil, golf war was really needed, etc., get out of elxis. Elxis needs free people with strong will, ready to fight for a better world. This is Elxis for me, this is the power of attraction*.

I'm completed update our site from Elxis 2008.0 Olympus to ElXIS 2008.1 Nemesis. The upgrader tool works great ! ;D
