Helo All
I asked this question before but it was part of another email. I will therefore repeat it her.
How do you create a dropdown menu in elxsis 2008? (i.e. a menu like the admin menu which displays sybmenu items when you hover the cursor over the top menu item)?
Thank you
Andrew

Hi, this is a question of CSS and Javascript, rather then Elxis. You can create submenus in Elxis, but displaying menus in dropdown manner is actually a matter of template, component, or module.
PS
I see that there is similar solution only for vertical menus on Elxis Downloads Center. So, I will try to fill in that gap by creating a module for vertical dropdown menus. I am very busy right now, but I will try to make it in next few days.

Thank you very much Ivan. That would be great and, I think, helpful to making elxsis better meet the needs of its users.

OK, I have created Dynamic Suckerfish (ds)menu! You will be able to use it to display horizontal or vertical menus using suckerfish script. I have managed to make it full XHTML and CSS valid, also. So, just give me another day or two to prepare installation, and cleanup the code.... Cheers

Thank you very much. That's great and I think it will add an important extra feature to elxis.

Hello Iván
Any news on the suckerfish dropdown menu you were producing. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place but I have not been able to find it.
Thanks a lot.
Andrew
PS I have not had a chance to get back to this

One thing though, when you do publish it, could you tell the forum where you have published it??
Thanks
Andrew
