Title: From Registered to Author

Hi all !

is it possible for someone who is registered in an Elxis website, automatically to be set as an author and not just a registered user ?

Yes , You can modify the permissions of Registered Group to those permissions of Authors  ;)

Try to use Access Manager is very easy to just pay a little time to.  :)

Hi all and compliments for this CMS.
The fact is, me too i'm having the same problem but digging the support forum showed no answer:
I gave the registered users exactly the same permissions as the authors have but registered can't still submit content. It even doesn't show the link in their menu...
I would appreciate to see if there is a solution.
The same issue i have in 2 Elxis 2009 installs.

first make sure you have a "submit content" link in menu and that is shown for registered users... by default this link exists in usermenu... check the access-user-level of it....by default is author(change)
if not exists you can create it.... choose "new"... links ... system-link

The permission access to "submit content" in the user menu was really the solution.
