Title: Elxis CMS "Word-of-Mouth" campaign!

Everyone knows about it, but hardly anyone does it well. It's time to change our approach to word-of-mouth marketing. I remember my boss saying that “The most intelligent and efficient ideas do not cost anything”. So:

-   How can we spread the word… about Elxis CMS?
-   How can we make more people learn about Elxis CMS?

Of course by using internet! Specifically through the most popular service in internet these days? Facebook. Everyone can ... spread the word about Elxis CMS. If you have a Facebook profile (even if you don’t its time you get one :p ) you may PM me and i’ll send you an invitation to joing the Group. After that, you can invite others to join also!

The “Elxis CMS Group” at Fecebook is an open group. Anyone can join and invite others to join. I have included a message board and of course a backlink to www.elxis.org. More extras will be available soon. The group's aim is to become a lobby in Facebook's Social Network, and to prompt people to visit elxis.org. Its just another "channel of communication"  :)

This is a personal idea I had for a “Word of mouth” campaign for Elxis CMS through www.facebook.com  -  Current Elxis Forum members will be given additional rights.

I did not understand why I should use facebook. Spreading the word needs good content, not an other platform  :D

This initiative is not incentive in order to use the Facebook. Got it now?  ;) The topic is completely opposite from what you understood.

Anyone who wants and knows how to help in this case, can understand what im talking about.  ;)

LOL Ivan! You are in my mind!  Last summer i produced t-shirts for rentasite.gr   and a few days ago i was thinking of going to get some for Elxis, this year! :)

Nice idea! But difficult in practice, if we decide to start the whole project as a team (prizes, sizes, stock exc).

I have did the similar campaign for our regional webmasters forum. I have successfully completed the whole job (production, distribution, etc...). Maybe it is better to continue this conversation elsewhere, as this seems like offtiopic here, you're right. ;)

I can bring in to the table several solutions for such a project.
Let me know if Elxis Team agree with this.

If yes, I will open a new post first in to the lab.
