Title: A file permissions error has occurred. [SOLVED]
Post by: robot_dika on March 26, 2008, 11:03:11
Hello everybody!

Thank's a lot for the last release...

I've tried to install elxis Olympus and the layout works perfect, but when I try to go in the administration control panel I see this message:

"A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again."

I've tried to set 777 all administration directory permissions without any results.

Any ideas to fix this problem?

Thank's a lot

Hi,
Are you using some special .htacces settings in your admin or root directory?

Hi,

I've tried to delete the .htaccess but I obtain the same problem...

The .htaccess file is the default one...

Can you give us a link (to that site)?

yes off course...

the site is on http://www.valtellinagiochi.com/index.php

I've setted now the .htaccess on index.html, but I obtain the same error also without that setting.

I just visited your site, and when I try to access administrator/ folder, I get a message 403 from the server. That means that your index.php is not there, or is not chmodded to 644. One more thing... are you using admin login page cloak?

Yes, but if you try to go to http://www.valtellinagiochi.com/administrator/index.php you will obtain another error message..

I've setted all administrator folder to 777 ... I cannot understand...

what do you mean with admin login page cloak?

Hello!!

I solved that problem...I've only deleted the administration file then reloaded and now works good...

Maybe it was an installing problem..

Thank's a lot for your support
