Title: moving to new server
Post by: pcfun on March 13, 2008, 04:15:40
I uploaded the backup files in my new server and the database as well. I changed the config file to meet the new path and i checked the permissions of files and folders. Files have permission 644 and folders 755.
The site opens but it shows this: Error creating feed file, please check write permissions.
I changed the permissions of /tmp and /cache to 777
Could you tell me what permissions should the folders and files have in order to work properly?
Thanks

The feed file is created inside the cache/ directory. Make sure cache/ folder permissions are 777. If this folder is not empty, remove all files from it (except index.html) in order Elxis to re-create them with write permissions.

The other permissions are OK? 755 and 644 for folders and files corrispondently?
