Sorry thats not my natural language.
I have given the elxis installation, german language as default
now is on the front page, the button, section and menu
named as Haupt, that means the translation of "home".
But its must be named as "Startseite". I looked all files over it,
but i can´t find. Where i can change it. So as it is
may the german users will not understand
what´s the meaning for.
my installation file was
elxis_2008.0_Olympus_rev1891.zip

Hi and welcome :),
there are two ways to do it .
1.Rename the word from the main menu or the top menu
2.Delete the haupt menu from this two menu and make a new as a component for frontpage .

I did sme work on the german translation a week ago but forgot to post, sorry :-(

But Haupt etc is not in the language definition files, it is in the menues.
Go to administration
--> goto Menüverwaltung
Zeile 1 ist dort das mainmenue (Hauptmenü)
Klicke auf Menü Items (Menü Items bearbeiten)
dann wird das menü gelistet. Du wirst den Eintrag Haupt sehen
Klicke auf Haupt
Jetzt kannst du das ändern in der Zeile mit Name

thanks Mannes, this works on for section and menu
but the Button is also named as "Haupt"
i mean the button directly below the elxis logo.
if i push in the Line under the button came now
Startseite >> Haupt
i found it
Administration > Menüverwaltung > 2. Row Haupt
obove, right, "Bearbeiten"
in english may
Administration > Menues > 2. Row Haupt
obove, right, "edit"
