Title: trying to install performs

I have been trying to install performs from http://www.performs.org.au.
Installation gets thru without any errors
even a from is created without any error
but when i add items to form i get error saying "Fatal error: Call to undefined method database::NameQuote() in C:\xampp\htdocs\mygnfc\administrator\components\com_performs\admin.performs.php on line 587"

Can anybdy help me with this. Is there any alternate form genrator other than facileform as it is too complicated for a layment to create a form.

hi parrotred , you are using performs component , but are you sure that this component is compatible with Elxis ?
because Elxis has direffernces with mambo & joomla ...
i found FacilForms very useful because it has many feutures and flexibility ... and also it has many samples that you can learn from them ...
so if you have any problem with Facileforms tell me ...  ;)

The only problem with facileform is that it is too complicated for a laymen hence i was trying to use performs. I am not sure about performs compatilibity with elxis but i may be some fixes we can have it work.
