Title: Questions About Site Cloning (SOLVED)
Post by: mmarch on August 16, 2007, 18:45:00
Hi!!!

Due problem with city council working style i made decision to make a gift to city community - 11 fully running websites For City Leisure centres needs. Everyone Leisure Centre will get one for free. My plan is simple - after created one site, all other than just copy in new host account, export old DB and change a DB user names and passw in Elxis configuration files. But of course nothing not so easy, that's because i would like ask few questions
1. What about site registration?
2. What about file permission's?
3. Is it OK to clone sites in this way?
4. Is there other solution?

1) What about it? I didn't understant the question.
2) All directories (exept /tpr and /cache that should be set to 777) should have permissions set to 755. All files should have permissions set to 644.
