Good Morning ;D
I was playing with the EDIR demo this morning and put up a couple of comments on the front end...But when i View Comments on the backend
1. I cant click on the listings to see the comments made
2. and hover over the titles. Most of the time comments don't always show as a pop up ( in IE7 or Firefox 2x )
also there doesn't seem to be a Bad Word filter system. which i think is essential for such an extension.
and also i think we should have the option to edit comments in the backend as well as the front.
May i say though i found EDIR very simple to use without even looking at the manual. It was very logically laid out. And after i had brief look at the manual i could see i could get to grips with EDIR within a very very short amount of time. :D .
Congratulations on a very well thought out product. Even though i can appreciate it must of been a highly complicated product to put together from start to finish.

Hi canton,
On EDir's Demo Site (http://www.asmart.gr), comments added by demo users are not published because they have to first be approved by demo administrators.
Imagine the chaos, if we should approve each comment on a system that is reseted hourly and used by hundreds daily.
We decided not to approve any comments published on demo site and set that not approved comments are not published.
That is why you are not seeing your comments published.
There is on "Bad Words Filter" in EDir, because real human administrators should first check each comment.
I have to add that we thank you for the kind words about EDir!

The should be a "bad word filter" on EDIR...Imagine a site that is very popular and has at least 500-1000+ comments/replys every day and thery are people posting emails/websites/bad language e.t.c that you don't want on your site. in this case it may not be possable to administer them in real time. I have such a website.
Also im sure a bad word filter would come in handy for the fields within the listings.

any comments on my last post would be appreciated.

There is n't a bad word filter now. We may add one in a future version although I dont think it is nessessary because the proper use of comments is the administrator to inspect comments after their submition. And not to auto-publish them.
