Title: We need 5 beta testers for the new media component

Elxis 2007 has a totally new media component in backend. At this time it is still under developement but soon it will be finished (in about a week). We need 5 volunteers to test this component, debug it and tell us their opinion about it. The first 5 that will declare it here they will be given this component to test it. We can not announce more information about the component yet. Please if you are a fresh Elxis user, you are not familiar with Elxis/Mambo/Joomla, or you can not debug it, wait some time and declare your will to help only if no other 5 experienced users found.

Topic unlocked. The new component media is ready and tomorrow will be sent to the above 5 users to test it. I think that you will love it!

More info will be sent to the above users about how to install and use it.
Public information will be announced in the future.
Publish of information regarding to Elxis 2007 and/or component media is forbidden without Elxis team/GO UP Inc permission.

That's good news! Thanks for the update, datahell.

BTW, will the new media component contain additional language strings? Or Elxis 2007 in general? I am working on a Spanish translation for both the backend and the frontend...  ;)

To Ricard: Component was re-written from scratch. It has no reletionship with the previous one. Language strings are totally new, so you must translate it again. We will give new language files to translators when the time comes (there are changes in other components too, and a totally new component - SoftDisk).

To pcfun: As you probably know Elxis has a component named "media" in backend for managing images. This component was from mambo with some changes by us. The new component media is totally new. Managing media files was never so easy!
