hi,
i changed my elxis 2008 and installed the elxis 2009 and my template dosn't work : all is right but pictures are not displayed; can some one help me?

ks-iservice is a template for Elxis 2008.x frontend. Features: 2-column layout, CSS design, SEO optimized, XHTML and CSS valid, compatible with all modern browsers. This version comes with lytebox3 (http://www.dolem.com/lytebox/) pre-installed. Read more in the lytebox-readme.txt inside template's lytebox folder.
Also there is a flash imagerotator preinstalled, read more in imagerotator-readme.html, inside template's imagerotator folder. NOTE: in order to work imagerotator, you must set absolute urls to your images by modifying list.xml file inside imagerotator folder. This is the only thing that you have do... except replacing images with yours.

I have the same problem as the above. The pictures are not displayed in Internet Explorer(7 + 8), in FireFox it works ok.
I noticed that on the demo website http://elxis.ks-net.gr/ the pictures are also not displayed.
I looked at the xml file but this seems to be ok.

My test's don't appearance me any problem.

I have tried again. Two computers (both vista) one with ie7 and other with ie8 don't display the pictures. Another computer with vista and ie8 displays the pictures correctly.
I don't have a clue why, but it has obviously nothing to do with elxis or the template.
If you have an idee why this could be, please let me know.

Still don't have a clue what happened but it suddenly worked again on both computers where it did not work before. I did not change anything to internet explorer.
The only thing I did was clearing out some network connections and reinstalled the network adapter. Maybe it had something to do with this because one compter was running as a server for a local copy of the elxis program. But this looks to me very strange :-\

i also had this problem with image rotator
so in order to get things working
i had look at http://www.elxis-templates.gr/ (http://www.elxis-templates.gr/) and at http://demo.elxisitalia.com/index.php?mos_change_template=ei_comp (http://demo.elxisitalia.com/index.php?mos_change_template=ei_comp)
with safari,firefox and opera.

and sorry ks I do not want to offend you but apperently in your demo, the file list.xml the url is wrong

should this not be www.elxis-templates.gr
i Can upon this in order to get everything working

but when some one looks at you site and it is black , and then looks at on other demo and it works people can get puzzeld

It was a couple of weeks ago that site transferred from elxis.ks-net => elxis-templates
this must be:
<location>http://yoursite.com/templates/ks-iservice/imagerotator/1.jpg</location>full url is preferable

Download the new version of macromedia flash plugin for IE ;)
