Hi all !

i am using the flash mambot to show a flash movie inside the content. how can I change the interface of the flash player ?

You mean the animation ? If yes , You should open the .fla version of your flash animation in Macromedia Flash

If you mean about FLV Player , You can change the /mambots/content/flv/elxisflv.jpg file with your desired picture ...

I mean the whole "image" of the flash player of this mambot:

different play/stop buttons etc etc

You need a different player then... BTW we are thinking of changing the player with something better like the JW player. Farhad I know you like this idea. Would you take over this task?  :D

There are also some other very good players with not so much features like the JW one.

do you mind if you give me some instruction on how to use the flash players that you recommend us ?

I mean, I have downloaded the player. Then what ???

You can't use that player by downloading and uploading to your site , It should be alter to work beside the Elxis ;)

As far as I understand, the only thing that I can change is the "flvplayer.swf", in order to change the type of the flash player.

right ?

If I can find such players then that would be great....

Christos you can n't use that player directly in Elxis CMS except if you attach it using the wrapper (not recommended). It needs an elxis plugin to be created first (bot). That's what we were talking about with farhad.

The good about that player is that can play various media files, advertizements, supports flash vars and many other. You can build a whole api with that player like the webTV component I built for an other site ( http://www.corfunews.eu/ ). In order to fully use its functionalities an advanced editor button should also be created.
