Title: @elxis-team: What does ELXIS mean in Greece ?
Post by: kyron on January 25, 2007, 18:47:23
Does the word ELXIS have some meaning in your native language  ???
I´m quite shure it is not an abbreviation ...

Is there a relationship to a company elxis-systems ( http://elxis.de http://elxis-systems.com ) ?

Just curious and learning  ::)
aahh, by the way: thanks for mailing your members to post in english !! that way much more
people can follow a lot of other probably interesting threads about elxis. A good international
forum community will for sure help that great cms go spreading around the world much faster.

best regards

Hi Kyron,

Elxis or ΈΛΞΙΣ - Έλξις is a Greek word meaning the force of attraction. It is a versatile word that can be used in many occasions.

I will give you a few examples of the usage of the word. I hope they will help you understand better.

"Earth elxis the moon"
"A man is feeling elxis for a woman"
"A locomotive provides the power that elxis the train".

We do not have any relation with the urls you specified.

The main Elxis moto before in the early days was "Elxis, the power of attraction".
Elxis is the power/force that brings things (people , objects etc) together.
