Title: Session save path [Solved]
Post by: ShArK on February 29, 2008, 16:09:53
Hi all,

I was trying to install elxis on my new Virtual Private Server ( with plesk ) .
I got session save path unwritable error, how can I chmod this right, or change it to another directory for that user?

If you can help me with this, this is breaking my head. Thanks

You should edit your php configuration file , in there you can set a folder for session path  :)

I found a way to put another tmp dir here: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5102 (http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5102)
It sees the changes, and now it is writable :) thanks..

This is a server setting for all sites that those want to use sessions , this directory helps them to add temporary files for sessions
It's not for Elxis only ...
