Title: installation of IOS Reservations

Hi everyone, I'm new here at the forum (and with Elxis).

I've downloaded the zip: elxis_2009.2_electra_rev2631 of IOS Reservations. Now I'm trying to install it but I get an error:
Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

What can be wrong?

Hello to you.!
You have received from Is Open Source Company a *.zip file which there is the component , modules and bots relative to IOS Reservations.
All you have to do is to extract this file.
Then you will see a zip file named : com_reservations_3.5.zip. This one you must install Wink

In the zip was com_reservations__33_r304.zip, but this was installed now.

I installed it succesfully and added some locations and hotels in the backend.
Now my problem is that I can't seem to find the location of the frond-end.

Βasic premise is that we have entered locations.
Please visit IOSR Demo Website (http://booking.isopensource2.com/) login at administration area by clicking here: Administration login page (http://booking.isopensource2.com/about-demo-site.html)

You must first create a menu item that will link to component IOS Reservations.
Go to menus -> main menu -> Click "New/Add" -> Select type "component" -> Click "Next" -> Select component "IOS Reservations" fill-in the rest of the details, make it publish and save it.

Now visit your site's frontpage. Note your new menu item. Click it to see IOS Reservations.

Now I have the option IOS Reservations in the menu and that works. But what I want is the website to start with that page. How can I do that?

Make that link to be first on the list of main menu.
