As I remember, it completed the process but I did not see a link to update the db the first time. I did see it the second time. The first time I set the site to offline, on the second time I set the site to admin only. To correct the problem, I restored only the files not the db. Not a problem, it works like a charm. Great work! Thanks.

I re-created from scratch module Watch My Site. This administration module can monitor the status of the HTTP web server for up to 10 web sites. Version 2.0 is compatible only to Elxis 5.x. The interface is brand new, AJAX powered and can be integrated automatically to your frontend template (just 1 click). This means that it doesn't require external cron jobs anymore to be executed. The module will check automatically the status of the sites every 10 minutes and when there is a change (site UP or DOWN) will send you a notification via e-mail or SMS (SMS requires Elxis 5.5+). After installation the module will auto-appear in your Elxis administration dashboard page.

The process completed successfully on the first try? Did it show you a link to update the database? If yes and you didn't clicked that link this is why you got a fatal error. Elxis 5.5 has changes in database (especially in users table) and if you don't update the database you will get error.

Hello, I set my site to offline and then updated the site to 5.5. The process appeared to updated normally. After it finished, I logged out and then tried to login but I received Login failed with error message Internal Server Error
I am currently in the process of comparing and analyzing changes to the template files to see what has changed. I have a backup of the FS and DB. I changed my configuration file manually to activate the site again.
If you have any suggestions, I look forward to seeing them.
