Hello,
I am trying to integrate my website but i would really like to know when the new ISO version will be available so i dont have to do the job 2 times.
Any estimate time given will be very helpful.

IOS Reservations v2.0 will be available (estimation) till the end of this month (September 2008). But even if you install version 1.2 you will be able to upgrade to v 2.0, so you dont have to wait...
Till now the folowing tasks have been completed:
Advanced room search form
Option to display latest user comments on component front-page
Option to display simple search form in front-page
PayPal integration (option for customer to pay part or the whole of the revervation cost - option per hotel).
All locations list page (needed for those having hotels in too many locations).
Option to se the total number of displaying locations in front-page as well as their display order.
Tasks still under development:
Add/Edit hotel from front-end
Add/edit room from front-end.
PayPal IPN.

IOS Reservations 2.0 is ready since last week. As you see I have already prepared and published a complete user manual. Due to Elxis 2008.1 release, IOS Reservations' 2.0 release must wait some days. Elxis goes first as more users await for it. I will publish Elxis Updater and afterwards do a final test on the component and release it.

how do i get to the iso control panel to download the new version??

If you have already IOS Reservations installed and activated login to Elxis administration and go to
components -> IOS Reservations (this is the control panel)
On the tabs on your right there is a tab called "Update", click on this tab.
A download link will be displayed to download the update patch. Click on it to download the update patch.
Unzip this package locally and read the README.txt file carefully.

Hello, thanks for the quick reply
here is what i do get :
INVALID PRODUCT KEY!
Each product key is for one installation only. You can activate component Reservations only once!
I am thinking of installing elxis from scratch as ufter update i do get many errors and there are lots of files that need updating manually
Dont have any important info so it will be better for me to install from new.
Is any way of getting a link where i can download the new Iso Reservation.

If you install Elxis from scratch or you uninstall and re-install component IOS Reservations send me an e-mail to reset your previous activation and send you the new version of IOS Reservations or the update patch.
Suggestion: there is no need to uninstall and re-install IOS Reservations. If you apply the patch to version 2.0 everything will work perfect.
You can activate IOS Reservations only once. If you activate it, uninstall it and re-install it, you can NOT re-activate it. You need to tell me to reset your previous activation.

Also, when someone clicks on "About Albania" a Fatal Error comes up.

No, this must be done from the administration area. If anybody could add destinations then what if you had hotels for Belgrade and nearby cities and someone added a destination like Tokyo, Japan? This destination would be directly visible from front-end even if the hotel would stay unpublished. The destinations are the "bones" of your site's structure, you don't want to allow anyone to add any destination he likes! One more example: You have a destination called "Athens" and someone adds a destination called "Athen" (Athens in German), then you will have 2 destinations for the same city instead of one.
So, adding destinations only from the administration area is important if you wish to have the control over your site and good navigation. You can add unlimited number of destinations from back-end and have them ready for hotels addition from front-end.

It is also a good practice to add extended information and images for each destination. The more text you add the better site ranking you will have. Content is the king of the web!
