Hello,
I don't know if this could be a bug but it happens to me with a 2009.1 upgraded 2009.2 site as well as with an 2009.2 installation from scratch, too:
- images in sections and categories are not showing up.
In the 2009.1 installs, images in cat. and sect. are showing correctly.
What about you?

Please re-save the menu item parameters that links to that section/category.
If still does not work I will check for possible bug.

I have a module showing a list of categories (menu item). That menu didn't more appeared in the menu list but re-saving that module, the menu list has gone ok.
At this point, going to re-save each menu item i observed that "Description Image" option were set to "hide". This option is also set to "hide" in another 2009.1 site, though the image and description are correctly showing up there.
Ok, setting there to "show" had solved my issue.

Although you solved the problem by re-saving the menu item I will check this issue.

Could you inform me please if you can see item menus (for categories and sections only) of the same site at the same time in 2009.1 and 2009.2 to compare parameter settings concerning the show or not description and the show or not image? Are there differences between 2 versions?

Sorry, I didn't exacly catched what you mean..
It seams to me that, comparing between 3 sites (the upgraded one and the 2 "native" .2), parameters in menu items (sections and categories) are showing a little different between 'table view' or 'blog view'. Between the same view type, it seems that there are no differences.
If you like I can give you admin access for testing purposes.

For me it works fine (just test it)...
If there is something that does not work normally for you please tell me in details what you do in order to be able to track the problem down.

I simply don't know what to say, except that it is now working smoothly after that I've followed your instructions and revised each section item settings in order to show images.
BEFORE upgrading, that setting were "hide" but images were showing. I didn't noticed all this until, after the upgrade, images weren't showing.

Then I guess it was an 2009.1's issue that fixed on 2009.2 which made your menu settings look different.
As far as I remember (I need to search our SVN to be sure) we did at least one addition of missing parameter on the menu's XML files after a user bug report. This might be the cause of this difference between the 2 versions. The sure thing is that Elxis 2009.2 fixes some problems of Elxis 2009.1 as any newer version would do in comparison to a previous one.
