Hello,
suddenly i cannot "batch upload" from a stargallery installation. Nothing has been changed on the files, just so suddenly! I even tried to batch upload from another installation on the same Server and it works fine. The ZIP file's size im trying to upload is just 954 KB.
It takes too much, and sometimes it returns a blank page and some other times, it tries to open index2.php - Im using Mozilla Firefox.
I also saw this error through cPanel Error log. But i don't know if its related to the problem mentioned above.
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/blahblah/public_html/includes/Core/filemanager.class.php on line 867
Thanks in advance
Spiros

Elxis can not create the zip's directories. Check the zip's structure and the permisions of the online directory.

What do you mean by that John? Should i create a directory for zip files? ???
Permisions of the online directory are ok.

No. From the error message you posted it seems that the images inside the zip package you try to upload are inside directories and Elxis, for what ever reason, can not create these directories. Try to zip images being all in the root directory. I dont know if this is the problem but as I said before from the error message it looks like that this is the problem.
Sample zip package contents (now):
image1.jpg
/dir/image2.jpg
/dir/image3.jpg
Sample zip package contents (after):
image1.jpg
image2.jpg
image3.jpg

Yeah i understand now.
Well, they are zipped under the root directory. I tried to upload the same zip on another stargallery installation, and it worked smoothly !!!!!!!!!!
During the zip's upload, why is it trying to open index2.php !?!?!?!?!
Thanks

Because you are on index2.php!

Anyone else faced the same problem?

maybe the reason is for your bad file name , don't use complex file names , without any underline or another nonalphabet character or space ... use simple like : supernet123.jpg not supernet 123_sample.Jpg ... :)
also check your temp folder , is it writable ? is it set for that host?

Thanks Farhad. :)
The file names were ok. But the problem was the temp folder permissions. Thanks!!!
