This bot allows you to use IntenseDebate.com comment system on your site. Originally created for Joomla 1.5 by Rocketwerx.com team.
In attachment - two files:
1. Bot
2. Button for content editor
Use it's only for content articles and autonomous pages.
I think it's usefull before Elxis 2008.2 official release. After Elxis 2008.2 official release we can use built-in comment system.
If you find any errors in this extensions - please report me.
Before you can use this bot, you need create account at Intensedebate. There you register your blog or site url and find javascript code like this:
<script>
var idcomments_acct = 'd345764357dfgsdfg3d1ed0f524e9bf616';
var idcomments_post_id;
var idcomments_post_url;
</script>
<span id="IDCommentsPostTitle" style="display:none"></span>
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.intensedebate.com/js/genericCommentWrapperV2.js'></script>
Copy value of idcomments_acct variable and paste it in bot IntenseDebate Account parametr. Save bot and publish.

Thank you Coursar , I was thinking on a comment system like akocomment and easycomments ... So I am reviewing this bot ...
Which advantages has this bot ?
-
Aha , I got it , It is using IntenseDebate site , This is a gateway , Yes? ;)
Simple but useful , Thank you
-
:)

So I think we should create an account for every content Item , Yes?
So in this way we can't use this bot for multiple contents ... Because We can only set one account for this bot , Also we can't make a copy from the bot to publish it in different ways , Like Modules ... Although this can be done by using a parameter in the bot , Like this {comment account=####}
I can use it just for a content only :)
Sorry , I was very fast for reply , I see you edited your post :D
-
No, you need register just one account, not new account for every content Item.
-
Ok , I am going to register ;)
-
I test it in content item articles. It's work fine )) but it's not support russian language )) - not good for me...
-
Dont worry , I'll work on a comment system ;)
