Title: Enabling SEO Pro causes error
Post by: anker368 on February 03, 2009, 01:06:30
Hello,

Enabling SEO Pro causes an error on my sites.  I get the following message:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@mysite2.mysite.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.mysite.com Port 80

I believe I have modified both .htaccess file name & rewrite rule properly.  I wondering what to check next.

Thank you.

If you are sure about your htaccess and it's contents

Check or ask your provider if there is another htaccess in parent dirs that  conflicts
my opinion is that this is the problem!

I think your server is suphp enabled , you probably added some extra values in .htaccess or you have wrong files/folders permissions ...

Okay.

I will check with provider.

In the meantime, does this error message help: "File does not exist: /usr/local/apache/htdocs/rss.xml Can't use string ("2.3") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/404.cgi line 159. "

Thank you.
