hello all,
Do we have ios gallery in elxis 4, or similar category based gallery?

Create any category > articles structure and use the gallery plugin inside artclies to display the galleries. The result will be the same as using a gallery component.

So what? Upload each set of images inside a folder and set the folder path in gallery plugin.

Example
Create a category titled "gallery".

Create an article titled "nature".
Put your nature related images in media/images/nature/
In "nature" article add the gallery plugin:
{gallery}media/images/nature/{/gallery}

Create an other article titled "cars" to put your cars related images:
{gallery}media/images/cars/{/gallery}
etc...

You can add one or more menu item to your gallery and you are ready.
The final result will be like you had a gallery component.

http://www.example.com/gallery/nature.html
http://www.example.com/gallery/cars.html
