Title: Which Mambots would to like to see being compatible with Elxis?

This topic serves as an open question to all of you that you are using Elxis.

As you already know, mambots that have been developed for Mambo or Joomla!, can become compatible with Elxis after modifications.

We would like to ask about your priorities. Please post here mambots that you would like to be compatible with Elxis.

Then we could perform the modifications and release a version that is compatible with Elxis or ask the initial developer (if it is interested) to perform the modifications.

When you post a mambot, please also add a link to developer's web site.

Note: We talk only for modifications. NOT rebranding.

Hi panda,

First to remind you that this topic is about mambots. Your requests are not mambots.

But since you asked, I will answer here.

You do not need solutions like Joomfish with Elxis.
Multilingual capabilities are embedded to Elxis.
You can create multilingual websites out of the box!

For image gallery, I sugest to try StarGallery. You can find it from Elxis Directory at www.elxis.org.

Modules like the ones you mention I am pretty sure that will work for Elxis without any other modification.

i think it is better to define a section to introduce components, modules , mambots, and other addons that they are compatible with ELXIS without any modification , this is very useful to extend ELXIS usability ...

Just a note: We are not satisfied with the general usage and performance of bots. In the future we may replace them with something else. Elxis 2008 has many changes that reduces bots execution time but still we are not satisfied. At least  for some bots like the "search bots" I think it is better to implement something more build-in that would be faster and that will give more options to the user (ie input parameters to what you want to search for, and ordering the search results by "weight"). We suggest you to use as less bots as possible in your sites.
