Hello!
I uploaded pdf files with the plugin Download Version 1.1 but when I go to download I open a page and says:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at info@opensardinia.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Is there any related message in elxis error log?

Maybe it is due to file or folder permissions. Executable flag on files/folders can generate similar errors in some servers.

It does not work, I tried to change the execution of the file, but still the same error.
