Post by: rentasite on June 06, 2009, 12:08:19

Hi, i just installed Webalizer Component. But it seems that it's now working for me. From the front-end i get the message u see in the attachment.

What can the "Webalizer Directory" be? I try the auto-detection and i get these bunch of errors:

URI: index3.php
Path: /administrator/components/com_webalizer/admin.webalizer.php
Line: 408

You just have to enter webalizer's absolute path, that's all

Yeap. From the provider we were told to use "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/webalizer"

But in the admin panel i get:   Invalid Webalizer directory!

Tried this and worked.

/home/xxxx/tmp/webalizer

You must set the path to the Webalizer generated statistics files and not to the webalizer program.

I had the same problem with webalizer!

whatever I tried, I got the same answer: "Άκυρος κατάλογος του Webalizer!"

Any idea?

Υπάρχει κάποιος να με βοηθήσει;

Thanks a lot

We are not looking for the executable file of webalizer. So, the "bin" folder is wrong.
We are looking for the folder where webalizer places the generated statical data.
The component will not accept the given path if a certain file is not found on the given directory.
The key file is the "usage.png" image and the component will search for this image in the given directory. This is a trick, I did, in order to be sure that this is the proper directory. usage.png is being created by the default webalizer setup and should exist in the given directory. If not exist then the component considers that the directory is invalid. If you are sure that the given directory is the right one, create a usage.png file in that directory.
I am not responsible for any errors you might get by setting wrong directory.

naspor if you can nt find a solution send me a personal message with username/password to your control panel to locate the proper weblizer directory for you.

let me ask something silly...

does your provider gives you webalizer statistics?
in other words are you sure that you have webalizer running at your server?

sorry for the greeks I have used in my despare.

Yes I have statistics with webalizer.

Yes, I can see the file "usage.png" which is located in the directory: "/var/www/usage".

When I put that path in webalizer's setting in the back-end, i get the message: "Άκυρος κατάλογος του Webalizer!"

Datahell, you mean the codes in PLESK's Control Panel of the VPS or the codes for the back-end of "grandprix.naspor.gr" subdomain?

Thank you for your help.

PS: By the way my statistics are: https://naspor.gr/plesk-stat/webstat/
