No problem detected with this feature. Everything works fine in your site.
I write the answer here in public in order to be visible by other users too.
The image upload feature works fine for the gallery. I uploaded 3 gallery images in 3 different folders.
Things that might cause you the problem:
1. Browser incompatibility. To be sure that everything works perfect use Firefox when you administer Elxis CMS.
2. Firewall block. Some times programs like Norton internet security can cause scripts to not function properly.
3. Flash version. Make sure you dont have a too old flash version installed.
Work around:
1. Try with a different browser (Firefox recommended).
2. Try from a different PC.

I'm having the exact same problem. I can upload locations and room pics just fine, but the gallery doesn't work.
I am using Firefox 3.0.5 with Flash 10r12 on Vista SP1. I also tried IE7 and Opera and I can't get any of them working.

Check your Firewall configuration on your computer.
-
Check also that the upload directories are writeable. Some time if you have enabled FTP access in Elxis globhal configuration and you have set wrong settings this can cause problems on uploading files. If you can not upload images from an other computer send me username/password to your site ftp and elxis administration to investigate the problem.
-
I checked the directories, they are writeable. Does this feature require that ftp be enabled? My host does not have ftp enabled unfortunately.
-
The important thing is that directories should be writeable by Elxis even if FTP is enabled or not. IOS Reservations makes needed directories writeable during installation automatically so this is not the problem. The problem most probably is with your computer's firewall. If you can nt find a solution contact me providing me the information I asked you.

Information sent. I've tried from 2 different computers now, on different networks. I must have something configured wrong.
I've sent you the login info.
Thanks for your help!

Here are the check results for other users that might have the same problem.
The gallery upload works fine, I uploaded 2 pictures without any problem. As I said this problem can be caused by a firewall installed on your computer that blocks javascript, etc. I sent you a patch that replaces the AJAX/flash upload method with a standard HTML upload form in order the upload feature to work under any circumstances.

same issue here, what can i do to fix it :(
-
Send me an e-mail to remind me this and I will send you (in the afternoon - 12 hours from now) the same patch (info AT isopensource DOT com )
-
i received all the files thank you but i still do get the same error?
Error 403 Forbidden
Any idea why?
-
Did you updated the files?
Click control+F5 in your browser to refresh cache or completely empty your browser's cache.
-
did try but still doesnt work
on IE it times out on firefox i do get the error above
-
Most probably you have a permissions issue due to php settings or bad settings in elxis. This patch should work if everything was ok as it just displays a standard html form. Send me username/password for your site's ftp and your site's administration to apply this patch for you and inspect your problem.

Maybe they are running on an enabled suphp server , If the answer is yes , They shouldn't touch their permissions , All folders can be 755 , All files can be 644 ...
Also some .htaccess lines may lead to make this problem
-
I am sure that this is a permission error , This will occur with enabled suphp servers ...
To fix this issue you should download all files that have problem from your site in windows ...
(You can do this for all existing files and folders in public_html)
If you got an extracted file , Extract the file in windows...
When you download linux files on windows , All files and folders permissions will loose ...
Now again upload your files in your server , You can compress them and upload the compressed file to your server and extract it in there...
If you are sure that your server is based on enabled suphp , Then no need to touch your permissions ... Don't change your files and folders permissions at all !!
Your problem will solve ... :)
