Title: Subcategories ? How does it works ??

I read that version elxis_2006_4 support Subcategories..
Can somebody tell me how can i use them ??

I need a structure like this:
-Sport
--Fotball
--|--Players
--|--Teams
--Basketball
--|--Players
--|--Teams

Is that possible to make ?

No,  this is not real. Elxis 2006.4 has the ability to support subcategories but the functionallity is still missing. We have develop third party components with subcategory support based on the 2006.4 layer so the technology is already known and it will be implemented in a future Elxis release. Till then you can have a similar efect by playing with the menu items (parent etc).

thats cool i already impliment multi category on elxis but its not stable yet it will be great to hear that you are also working on it

datairan, I have see a demo of this, and I have to tell you it is improbable.
And it is absolutely unique !! with gorgeous ability's.

These screenshots are taken from the EDir (Elxis Directory) component.

Subscription: EDir supports subscriptional content. So, subscription is the subscription package under which this content item is available for.

Ex.F.Group means: Extra Fields Group. With EDir you can load each category a group of extra fields (yes, content items have also extra fields!). So you can say a category that contains, ie monitor descriptions, to use a group of extra fields that describes monitors.  You can have infinite extra fields and extra fields groups ;)
