Hi Everyone,

Can you help me to make a full screen (FS) for YouTube on Elxis Content page?

Thanks!

Mike

The youtube bot loads the youtube player. Just click the full screen icon on that player to see the video in full screen.

Does The youtube bot require Elxis 2008.0 or Elxis 2008.1?

I have Elxis 2008.0 right now. I tried to click the full screen icon, but it wont work.

And, where can I put youtube.php and youtube.xml in? W:\administrator\components\com_installer\mambot?

Thanks,

Mike

Youtube bot works with both Elxis 2008.0 and 2008.1 and most probably with 2006.4 too.
You dont "put it" anywhere. You install it via the Elxis bots installer.
Administration -> Installer -> Bots.

Thanks so much!

It shows success for installation in bots...

When I go to the Content page and click YouTube FS, it wont work.... That is odd...

Hi supernet,

I dont have a link because I am using my localhost for testing....

I hope you can help me...

In Site Bots: Edit for YouTube, {youtube}video_id{/youtube}, so I made it to {youtube}ZWuhwSxf1N0{/youtube} on Elxis content page, it wont show up...

Make sure the bot is published...
On the editor just write {youtube}video id here{/youtube} and you are ready.
If the video does not get displayed then most probably you have entered html inside the you tube video id area which you must clean up. Open content item in html mode and correct the problem (click the "html" button in tinymce editor).

Example
This won't work: {youtube}<p>U3N90BXZHZs</p>{/youtube}
This will work: {youtube}U3N90BXZHZs{/youtube}
